Astronomical photographer Kim Ki-hyun travels to the remote village of Gurja in the Nepal Himalaya. Among stars, people and memories, the journey becomes a search for consolation beneath the sky closest to the mountains.

The camera had to remain present without interrupting the silence of the journey.

Working in remote terrain meant responding to altitude, rapidly changing light and limited time. The cinematography follows both the scale of the mountain and the smaller gestures of a traveller moving through it.
